Beyond Bladder Cancer: The Other Risks of Actos

Well-documented medical research and warnings from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have alerted thousands of Actos (pioglitazone) patients to the possibility that prolonged pioglitazone treatment may notably elevate their likelihood of developing bladder cancer. What many Actos patients don't realize, however, is that their risks just start with bladder-related illnesses.

The side effects of Actos treatments extend to include heart problems, the possibility of bone fractures, and kidney failure as well. While prompt health care can address these issues, it often requires extended and expensive treatment. For many families, it's important to find justice and to receive the help that their beloved family member needs.

The attorneys at the law firm of Fears Nachawati know how to help your loved one and your family recover from the surprising, frustrating, and painful side effects of Actos's undisclosed risks. NuvuRing Makers: What Did They Know, When Did They know It?

NuvaRing Makers: What Did They Know, When Did They Know It?

For the drug manufacturers of NuvaRing, a widely prescribed female contraceptive device, there are two questions that victim-patients are asking: what did you know and when did you know it?

Tragically, NuvaRing may be responsible for a number of victims’ severe health conditions, including pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis, and heart attacks. In fact, FDA research concluded that the blood clot risks associated with NuvaRing were more than 50 percent greater than traditional birth control pills.

Risky drugs are not necessarily bad. Experimental medication, for instance, often carries unknown side effects. However, implicitly or explicitly asserting a risk level to lower than reality would suggest is unfair to consumers. To do it knowingly is even worse.

The jury is still out on whether NuvaRing makers are responsible for a failure to properly disclose the risks of this product. Nevertheless, many NuvaRing patients believe they may have a case. If you’re one of them, contact the professionals at the law firm of Fears Nachawati. With years of experience and dedicated expertise, we know how to help you.
